From legal milestones to global partnerships and Indigenous-led project launches, this is where Greentech Alliance's momentum becomes visible.
GTA formalizes its Canadian legal entity, building a structural bridge between the European Union and Canada for cross-continental regenerative economy collaboration.
The establishment of GTA's Canadian non-profit marks a significant organizational milestone — creating a formal legal bridge between the Alliance's European roots and the growing Canadian cleantech and Indigenous knowledge ecosystem. This structure enables GTA to receive Canadian funding, partner with Canadian institutions, and formally represent Indigenous-led organizations from both continents within a single governance framework.
Greentech Alliance becomes a sponsor and organizing committee member of Calgary Climate Week, bringing the regenerative economy perspective to one of Canada's leading climate events.
Calgary Climate Week brings together communities, innovators, investors, and policymakers to celebrate and accelerate climate solutions. GTA's participation as both a sponsor and organizing committee member reflects the Alliance's growing presence in the Canadian climate ecosystem and its commitment to connecting the Calgary region with global regenerative economy networks.
GTA announces a strategic merger with Intermobility.net, the European sustainable mobility network co-founded by François Hoehlinger. François joins the GTA Operations Team, and qualifying Intermobility members are invited to join the Alliance.
Intermobility is a European network dedicated to sustainable mobility and transportation, co-founded in 2023 by François Hoehlinger and four other influential mobility leaders. The network has cultivated a community of founders, investors, and innovators across Europe's mobility sector. Through this merger, François Hoehlinger joins the GTA Operations Team, bringing deep expertise in urban mobility, DEI, and European innovation ecosystems. Of Intermobility's 2,000+ members, those who meet GTA's membership criteria — demonstrating genuine commitment to reducing ecological impact, providing alternatives, or directly restoring ecosystems — are invited to apply for full GTA membership.
GTA partners with Energy Shift Capital, a European–North American investment platform connecting Series A and later-stage energy transition scale-ups with investors across Europe and the United States.
Energy Shift Capital operates as an investment platform, an emerging fund, and a curated community hosting online and global in-person programming for energy transition leaders. The partnership deepens GTA's Investor Ecosystem pillar, connecting Alliance members with a specialized capital network focused on the energy transition. Joint programming and a press release are in development.
GTA partners with RegenIntel, a leading global educational program and advisory empowering individuals and organizations to implement regenerative climate solutions.
RegenIntel is a mission-derived public benefit company harnessing humanity's collective wisdom aligned with nature and community. Based in Austria, RegenIntel offers a 20-week Fellowship Course, transformation advisory services, and research programs that help organizations achieve their climate targets in alignment with regenerative principles. GTA partners with GSA (gsa.earth), a global network dedicated to co-creating regenerative economic and social systems that allow both people and nature to thrive.
GSA cultivates a growing global network of partners dedicated to co-creating regenerative economic and social systems. Their mission is to enable a new, regenerative system that has cascading benefits to human and planetary well-being in concert with nature, while cultivating the next generation of regenerative leaders. The partnership with GSA expands GTA's Connection Network pillar and deepens the Alliance's reach across North America.
GTA partners with Scion (scion.earth), a non-profit supporting founders, scientists, and nature-tech innovators tackling ecological challenges at scale through the Scion Society and accelerator programs.
Scion operates a nature-tech accelerator in Bulgaria and Romania, running 10-week programs that help founders turn nature-positive ideas into investable ventures. Through the Scion Society, the organization builds a community of nature-tech practitioners across Eastern Europe. The GTA–Scion partnership bridges the Alliance's global network with Scion's specialized accelerator ecosystem, opening pathways for nature-tech ventures to access GTA's Investor Ecosystem and Connection Network pillars.
GTA partners with Land IP (land-ip.com), a land intelligence platform unlocking the full potential of land through integrated ecological, infrastructure, and livelihood outcomes.
Land IP is grounded in Far North Queensland and focuses on delivering integrated ecological, infrastructure, and livelihood outcomes for landholders and communities. The platform brings together land intelligence tools that support regenerative land stewardship — directly complementing GTA's Indigenous Knowledge and Data & Metrics pillars. The partnership enables Alliance members to access land intelligence capabilities and connects Land IP's work with GTA's global network of practitioners.
GTA partners with ClimateForce (theclimateforce.org) to power the Alliance's Data & Metrics pillar — bringing bioregional datasets, impact measurement frameworks, and validated climate data to the GTA network.
ClimateForce is a global initiative driving measurable climate action through data, technology, and community. The partnership with GTA anchors the Alliance's Data & Metrics pillar, providing members with access to bioregional datasets, validated impact measurement frameworks, and a Digital Knowledge Hub built on First Nations and science collaboration. ClimateForce's tools enable GTA members to measure, report, and communicate their environmental impact with credibility — turning member activity into defensible, verifiable outcomes. The partnership was confirmed in November 2025 alongside GTA's merger with Intermobility.
GTA launches the first international Indigenous youth exchange between the Blackfoot Nation (Alberta, Canada) and the Krenak Nation (Brazil), bringing 4 Brazilian youth to Alberta for a multi-week cultural and ecological immersion.
This exchange is the first concrete output of the Sacred Pact signed between the Blackfoot and Krenak communities — a landmark agreement brokered through GTA's Indigenous Knowledge pillar. Four Krenak youth from Brazil will travel to Alberta for a multi-week cultural and ecological immersion, living on Blackfoot territory, learning land stewardship practices, and building relationships that will anchor future exchanges. The program is funded through GTA's founding membership and supported by the Guardians of Sacred Lands.
GTA and the Rotary Club help establish The Guardians of Sacred Lands — a Blackfoot-led initiative incorporated as a non-profit in December 2025. Leadership is exclusively Blackfoot.
In December 2025, the Greentech Alliance and the Rotary Club supported the Blackfoot Nation in incorporating The Guardians of Sacred Lands as a non-profit organization. Leadership and decision-making rest entirely with the Blackfoot Nation. GTA's role is to provide funding and guidance as requested, and to amplify the program's work through its global network and international Rotary engagements. The program documents sacred land relationships, oral histories, and ecological practices tied to sacred sites — creating a living record that belongs to the Blackfoot community.
